Gypsum, cove and architectural ceiling systems

Overview

False Ceiling

A false ceiling is mostly infrastructure: it hides ducting and wiring, holds your light layers and sets the height of every room. Done badly it lowers a room; done well it makes it feel taller.

We keep drops minimal, use coves to bounce light, and set out the grid so light points land where the furniture actually is.

Where it works

  • Living and dining rooms
  • Bedrooms
  • Kitchens and utility areas
  • Offices and commercial interiors

Why INHOMES

What you get with false ceiling

  • 01

    Service concealment

AC ducting, wiring and pipes disappear without losing access.

  • 02

    Better light quality

Coves and profiles give even, glare-free ambient light.

  • 03

    Perceived height

Peripheral drops keep the centre of the room high.

  • 04

    Clean finishing

Straight shadow lines, crack-controlled joints and true corners.

FAQ

False Ceiling questions

  • Not if it is planned. We usually drop only the periphery and keep the central height intact.

  • Gypsum board is faster, cleaner and more dimensionally stable; POP is useful for curved and moulded profiles. We often combine both.

  • Project pricing depends on size, materials, design and scope. Contact INHOMES for a personalised quotation.
